Fall Fun at the Fair

It's October. What does that mean? No, not the arrival of fall, football, Halloween or any of those old cliches. It's time to go to the fair and eat the most overpriced junk food and wear out your feet. Unless you're sawed-off and have a good excuse to ride in a wagon all day.

The crew loaded up and went to the State Fair to make sure all the old classics were still in operation.
Fletcher's Corny Dogs? Check.
Root Beer keg? Check.
Big Tex? Check.
Nutty Bars? Check.
Pineapple Whip? Check.
Car Show? Check.
Spudzilla? Check.
Deep-fried fad-of-the-year? Check.
Midway? Check.

There's a disturbing 2:1 food to attraction ratio going on here! Let's move on to the real sights.

Beau at the Borden compound was too much for Logan to resist, he almost became a part of the exhibit! McKenna was generous and shared a treat with LoJo during a break. They had it made in the wagon. And, as always, the petting zoo was a...well...ZOO! I don't think it matters what time of day you go, it's packed. Pink piglets and a baby giraffe were the highlights, but we still had to get the annual photo shoot at the barnyard billboard. Who's the photo pro here, hmmmm?
